Cooling Tower

Cooling tower: a device intended for cooling water in recirculating water supply systems, where water serves as a means of removing large amounts of heat from energy and industrial equipment. The cooling principle consists in that water passing through the cooling tower is divided into thin films or droplets, thereby increasing the cooling surface area, and is blown by an air stream.
