23) structure - the result of construction, representing a volumetric, planar or linear building system having above-ground, ground and (or) underground parts, consisting of load-bearing, and in some cases also enclosing structural elements, and intended for performing various types of production processes, storing products, temporary accommodation of people, and movement of people and goods;

Structures include engineering and construction objects intended for creating conditions necessary for the production process by performing certain technical functions not related to changing the objects of labor, or for carrying out various non-production functions: transport structures (internal factory roads and railways, overpasses, etc.), transmission devices (power lines, pipelines and other transmission devices having independent significance and not being a part of a building or structure, etc.), hydraulic engineering structures (dams, basins, cooling towers, etc.), storage facilities (various tanks, reservoirs, etc.), mine shafts, oil wells, etc.
