Cadastral District
5. The territory of the cadastral district is divided into cadastral regions. A cadastral region is a part of the territory of a cadastral district, within which the state cadastral registration of land plots and the maintenance of the state land register of the cadastral region are carried out. The state land register of the cadastral region is a component part of the state land register of the cadastral district.
6. A cadastral region generally includes the territory of an administrative-territorial unit of a subject of the Russian Federation.
The territorial waters of inland waters and the territorial sea may form independent cadastral regions
