All-Russian Classifier of Services for the Population (OKUN)

The All-Russian Classifier of Services to the Population (OKUN) is a component of the Unified System for Classification and Coding of Technical-Economic and Social Information (UESK TESI).

The classifier has been developed to address the following tasks:

development and improvement of standardization in the field of services to the population;

implementation of service certification with the aim of ensuring the safety of life, health of consumers and environmental protection, preventing damage to consumer property;

increasing the efficiency of using computer equipment;

accounting for and forecasting volumes of services provided to the population;

studying the demand of the population for services;

providing services to the population by enterprises and organizations of various organizational and legal forms of ownership and individual citizens;

harmonizing the classification of services to the population with international classifications;

updating the types of services taking into account new socio-economic conditions in the Russian Federation
