Teleprinter transmitters
1. Keyed or keyboard transmitters (teletypewriter transmitters). In this equipment, combinations of pulses representing a message are transmitted upon striking the keyboard of the number selector or keypad, with each key corresponding to a character. In some devices, the keyboard is similar to that of a typewriter. This category includes Bréguier, Hughes, Baudot and other transmitters, as well as non-automatic teleprinter or teletypewriter transmitters.
