Infantry Combat Vehicle

The term "infantry fighting vehicle" means a combat armored vehicle designed and equipped primarily for the transport of an infantry fighting squad, which usually provides the disembarking troops with the capability to fire from within the vehicle under the protection of armor, and which is armed with an integrated or standard-mounted gun of not less than 20 millimeters caliber and sometimes with an anti-tank missile launcher. Infantry fighting vehicles serve as the main weapon system for armored infantry, tank, mechanized, or motorized units and formations of land forces.
