Public Chamber of the Moscow Region

The Public Chamber of the Moscow Region (hereinafter referred to as the Public Chamber) is an independent collegial body operating on public principles, and is established for the purposes:

1) ensuring interaction between citizens of the Russian Federation residing within the territory of the Moscow Region (hereinafter referred to as citizens), with state authorities, state bodies of the Moscow Region (hereinafter referred to as state authorities), and local self-government bodies of municipal formations of the Moscow Region (hereinafter referred to as local self-government bodies);

2) taking into account socially significant legitimate interests of citizens, protecting their rights and freedoms in the formation and implementation of state policy on the most important issues of economic and social development of the Moscow Region;

3) protection of the legitimate rights of public associations and other non-commercial organizations of citizens carrying out activities on the territory of the Moscow region and registered in accordance with the established procedure on the territory of the Moscow region (hereinafter - public associations and other non-commercial organizations)
