State Service of the Russian Federation
1. The state service of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the state service) is a professional official activity carried out by citizens of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as citizens) aimed at ensuring the performance of powers:
of the Russian Federation;
of federal executive authorities, other federal state bodies (hereinafter referred to as federal state bodies);
of the subjects of the Russian Federation;
of the executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, other state bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as state bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation);
of persons holding positions established by the Constitution of the Russian Federation and federal laws for the direct performance of powers of federal state bodies (hereinafter referred to as persons holding state positions of the Russian Federation);
persons holding positions established by the constitutions, charters, and laws of the subjects of the Russian Federation for the direct performance of the functions of state bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation (hereinafter - persons holding state positions of the subjects of the Russian Federation)
