<1> Small innovative companies are understood to be companies that meet the legal definition of a small enterprise, whose main type of activity is innovative activity - performing works and (or) providing services aimed at creating and organizing the production of fundamentally new or products with new consumer properties (goods, works, services); creating and applying new or modernizing existing methods (technologies) for its production, distribution and use; application of structural, financial and economic, personnel, informational and other innovations (new introductions) in the manufacture and sale of products (goods, works, services), ensuring cost savings or creating conditions for such savings
