Cremation Registration Card
Cremation registration card – a card containing the registration number, ritual chapel number, surname, first name and patronymic, age and gender of the deceased, and the dispatcher’s signature. The escort card is manufactured from thick paper with bright colors. After completion of the farewell ceremony following the closing and sealing of the coffin, it is attached to the edge of the lid or placed in a special pocket on the coffin's upholstery (if provided). Thereafter, the coffin is transported to the cremation section and delivered to the cremation furnace, where the escort card is removed from the coffin’s lid (taken out of the pocket) and placed into a pocket on that furnace, where cremation is carried out. After the completion of cremation, the ashes are removed from the furnace into a special container, into the pocket of which the "accompanying card" is transferred from the furnace's pocket. Then, after the final preparation of the ashes (removal of nails and other magnet-active items, grinding, etc.) and pouring them into an urn, this card is also placed into the urn. On the outside of the urn, only the registration number is indicated, by which its ownership is determined. When burying the urn, it is advisable not to remove the "accompanying card" from it
