railway station - a point that divides a railway line into sections between stations or block sections, ensures the operation of railway transport infrastructure, has track development allowing for operations such as receiving and dispatching trains, overtaking trains, passenger service operations, and receipt and delivery of cargo, baggage, and freight; with developed track facilities, it also performs shunting operations for disassembling and assembling trains and technical operations with trains;
