Organizational and Technical Methods of Ensuring Information Security of the Russian Federation
Organizational and technical methods of ensuring the information security of the Russian Federation are:
creation and improvement of the system for ensuring the information security of the Russian Federation;
strengthening law enforcement activities by federal executive authorities, executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, including prevention and suppression of violations in the information sphere, as well as detection, exposure, and holding accountable individuals who have committed crimes and other violations in this area;
development, use, and improvement of information protection means and methods for controlling the effectiveness of these means, development of secure telecommunications systems, and increasing the reliability of specialized software;
creation of systems and means for preventing unauthorized access to processed information and special impacts causing destruction, deletion, distortion of information, as well as changing the normal operating modes of information and communication systems and equipment;
detection of technical devices and programs that pose a threat to the normal functioning of information and telecommunications systems, prevention of information interception through technical channels, use of cryptographic means for information protection during its storage, processing, and transmission over communication channels, monitoring compliance with special requirements for information protection;
certification of information security means, licensing activities in the field of state secret protection, standardization of methods and means of information protection;
improvement of the certification system for telecommunications equipment and software of automated information processing systems in accordance with information security requirements;
monitoring of personnel activities in protected information systems, training of personnel in the field of information security of the Russian Federation;
development of a monitoring system for indicators and characteristics of information security of the Russian Federation in the most important areas of life and activities of society and the state
