Landslide


35. Landslide - slow displacement of rock mass forming a slope (and often its base), occurring as sliding movement between the displaced rocks and the stationary mass. The largest type of slope stability disturbance by size. Mainly associated with the presence in the rock mass of weak, moist layers, contacts, dikes, tectonic disturbances
