Slope


38. Slope - an inclined part of the surface of an open-pit mine excavation or an artificial embankment (dump). Depending on the type of mining equipment, a slope may have a flat profile (excavators - draglines, multi-bucket excavators), concave profile (direct and reverse mechanical shovels, chain and rotary excavators), angular profile (multi-bucket excavators), or complex profile (rotary excavators)
