Vitamin B12


Vitamin B12 is a more effective agent than vitamin B9 in treating pernicious anemia. It has a higher molecular weight and contains cobalt. Found in various forms in the liver and meat of mammals and fish, eggs, and milk. Obtained from spent cultural liquids during antibiotic production, sugar beet molasses, serum, etc. Dark red crystals soluble in water
