Archival Inventory

An archival inventory (hereinafter referred to as an inventory) is an archival reference document containing a systematically organized list of storage units of the archival fonds, collection and intended for their accounting and disclosure of content.

Inventories are compiled separately: for records of permanent storage; records of temporary (more than 10 years) storage; personnel files; records consisting of documents characteristic only to this organization (judicial, investigative files, scientific reports by topics, etc.).

A separate inventory is a list of files with independent gross (sequential) numbering.
