Sulfuric acid
Sulfuric acid has very strong corrosive properties. It is a dense oily liquid, colorless (if it does not contain impurities), yellow or brown (in other cases). It reacts vigorously with water, burns the skin and most organic materials, charring them.
Technical sulfuric acid contains 77 - 100% H2SO4. It is supplied in containers or in glass bottles for acids, in steel drums, tank trucks, railway tank cars or tankers.
This acid is used in many areas of industry: it is used, in particular, in the production of fertilizers, explosives and inorganic pigments, and also, inter alia, in the oil and steelmaking industries
