Monitoring of workers' health
Health monitoring of workers - a general term covering procedures and investigations aimed at assessing the health of employees in order to detect and identify any anomaly. The results of monitoring should be used to preserve and strengthen the health of the employee, collective health at the workplace, and the health of vulnerable worker populations. Health assessment procedures may include, but are not limited to, medical examinations, biological monitoring, radiography, questionnaires, or analysis of medical records (WHO, 1998)
