Palladium
Palladium is a silver-white metal, malleable and ductile, easily rolled into foil and drawn into thin wire. The density of palladium is 12.2; melting point 1552°C; hardness on the Mohs scale 5. In air at normal temperature, palladium does not oxidize, it is resistant to humid environments. When heated to 860°C, it oxidizes, and as the temperature increases, the oxide decomposes and the metal lightens again. In terms of its properties, palladium is inferior to all other platinum group metals, soluble in nitric and hot sulfuric acids, as well as in aqua regia.
