Anthrax
Anthrax is a particularly dangerous infectious disease of animals and humans. In animals, the disease runs very acutely, acutely, or subacutely, while in pigs it is mostly asymptomatic, primarily manifesting as a localized angina form. In humans, the disease most often presents as a skin infection and rarely progresses to anthrax sepsis; nevertheless, primary generalized infection may also develop, manifesting as pulmonary or intestinal forms.
