Lime milk
Lime milk is prepared as follows. One part of unslaked lime is diluted in nine parts of water. When working with lime milk, goggles and special clothing are required, since contact of lime milk with the skin or eyes causes an inflammatory process. Lime milk is used for disinfecting walls of warehouses and production premises. Sometimes a 0.5–2-percent solution of calcium hypochlorite or a 3-percent solution of formalin (by volume) is added to it.
