Section of a residential building
A residential building section is a building or part of a residential building (separated from other parts by a solid wall) with apartments (residential units of dormitories), having access to one stairwell directly or through a corridor. The length of common corridors without natural lighting at the ends and adjacent to the stairwell should not exceed 12 m. The area of apartments on the floor of the section should generally not exceed 500 sq. m
