6) building - the result of construction, representing a volumetric structural system having above-ground and (or) underground parts, including rooms, engineering and technical equipment networks and systems of engineering and technical support, intended for habitation and (or) human activity, placement of production, storage of products or keeping of animals;

The sub-section "Buildings (excluding residential)" includes buildings that are architectural and construction objects whose purpose is to create conditions (protection from atmospheric influences and others) for work, socio-cultural services for the population and storage of material values. Buildings have walls and roof as main structural components
