Soil pollution - deterioration resulting from anthropogenic activity (including accidents) of soil quality, including soils deprived of the fertile layer (quarries, rocky surfaces, etc.), characterized by an increase (appearance) of chemical substances or radiation levels compared to their previously existing values (background levels or at the beginning of the compared period)
