Militarized Mountain Rescue Units
1. Military mountain rescue units under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (hereinafter referred to as military mountain rescue units) are intended for carrying out work to save people, prevent and eliminate accidents and emergency situations on the territories of organisations engaged in mining and other activities at hazardous production facilities in coal, mining, metallurgical industries and underground construction (hereinafter respectively - organisations, hazardous production facilities), during their construction, reconstruction, operation, liquidation or conservation (hereinafter referred to as mountain rescue services).
2. Military mountain rescue units are established, reorganised and liquidated in accordance with the procedures established by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters
