Residual Book Value of Fixed Assets

Residual book value reflects changes in the condition of fixed assets, their gradual loss of consumer properties and value during operation, under the influence of natural forces and due to technological progress, in the amount of accumulated depreciation. At the same time, the amount of depreciation is determined in accordance with the norms and methods of depreciation and wear and tear applied in accounting. The residual book value of fixed assets equals the difference between their full book value and the total amount of depreciation accrued over the entire period since the start of operation of the relevant objects, taking into account changes resulting from revaluation
