Change in the Accounting Valuation of the Asset
A change in accounting estimates is an adjustment of the carrying amount of an asset or liability, or the amount of periodic consumption of an asset, which arises as a result of assessing the current condition of assets and liabilities and expected future benefits and obligations associated with those assets and liabilities. Changes in accounting estimates arise as a result of the emergence of new information or developments of events and accordingly are not corrections of errors.
