Test (Validation) Polygon


"test (validation) polygon" - a part of agricultural land (cropland, fallow land, meadows, pastures and perennial plantations), characterized by a representative natural region with a typical soil cover structure, selected for conducting monitoring of soil fertility indicators, the state of plant development, and the development of negative soil processes using geographic information technologies, Earth remote sensing data, and ground surveys and observations. Test polygons are also intended for testing agricultural technologies, including those using the Global Navigation Satellite System GLONASS, calibration of Earth remote sensing systems, as well as validation of satellite images based on aerial and ground observation data;
