Urban Planning
4.1. Urban planning - an area of professional activity involving the spatial and layout organization of territory, carried out in the form of territorial planning, urban zoning, land development, architectural and engineering design, and construction. The professional culture of urban planning includes the following types of activities:
research and design of urban planning objects of various scales and levels of complexity, from settlement systems to areas of landscaping and land development;
management and administration of urban planning activities at the local and regional levels;
development of knowledge about urban planning activities, participation in professional education and training of personnel
