Violation of the anti-doping rule


Violation of an anti-doping rule in sport means one or more of the following violations:

a) presence of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers in a sample taken from an athlete's body;

b) use or attempted use of a prohibited substance or a prohibited method;

c) refusal to appear for sample collection or failure to appear for sample collection without valid reasons after receiving notification in accordance with current anti-doping rules, or otherwise evading sample collection;

d) violation of existing requirements regarding an athlete's availability for out-of-competition testing, including failure to provide required information about his location and non-attendance at a test scheduled in accordance with reasonable procedures;

e) falsification or attempted falsification at any stage of the doping control process;

f) possession of prohibited substances or methods;

g) distribution of any prohibited substance or any prohibited method;

h) introduction or attempt to introduce a prohibited substance to any athlete, or the use or attempt to use a prohibited method against him, or assistance, encouragement, facilitation, incitement, concealment, or complicity in any other form related to the violation or any attempt to violate an anti-doping rule
