Disqualified Heirs

1. Citizens do not inherit either by law or by will if their intentional unlawful actions, directed against the decedent, any of his heirs, or against the implementation of the decedent's last wishes expressed in a will, have contributed to or attempted to contribute to their own or others' succession to the inheritance, or have contributed to or attempted to contribute to an increase in the share of the inheritance due to them or other persons, if these circumstances are confirmed by court decision. However, citizens who were granted property by the decedent in a will after they lost their right of inheritance are entitled to inherit this property.

Parents do not inherit by law after their children if the parents have been judicially deprived of parental rights and these rights have not been restored by the date of opening the inheritance.

2. At the request of an interested party, the court removes from legal succession citizens who have deliberately evaded their obligations to support the decedent as required by law.
