Technical Modernization of Enterprises
Technical modernization refers to a set of measures aimed at improving the technical and economic performance of fixed assets or their individual parts, based on the introduction of advanced technology and machinery, mechanization and automation of production, modernization and replacement of morally outdated and physically worn-out equipment with new, more productive equipment

3.5. Technical modernization of existing enterprises is considered as a set of measures aimed at improving the technical and economic level of individual production units, workshops and sections based on the introduction of advanced technology and new equipment, mechanization and automation of production, modernization and replacement of outdated and physically worn-out equipment with new, more productive equipment, as well as improvement of general plant services and auxiliary departments
