Universal Heavy-Duty Container
Universal heavy-duty container - a universal container with a gross weight of 10 tons or more and a length of 10 English feet or more, having a marking code corresponding to the ISO standard and registered with the International Container Bureau (BIC). In the first line of the marking code, four uppercase Latin letters indicate the container's ownership and seven digits represent its serial number, the last digit being a check digit. In the second line, two uppercase Latin letters denote the country code and four characters indicate the type size; the last two characters from 00 to 19 or instead of the first digit, the letter G or V from the Latin alphabet indicate that the container is universal.
