Bone fat


Bone fat obtained from fresh bones is a white or yellowish fat with the consistency and odor of rendered beef tallow; however, bone fat obtained from non-fresh bones is soft, granular, dirty-yellow or brown in color with an unpleasant odor. Bone fat is used in soap or candle production and as a lubricant
