Port workers
2. For the purposes of this Recommendation, the terms "port workers" and "port work" mean persons and types of activities defined as such by national legislation or practice. Consultations should be held with interested employer and worker organizations, or otherwise ensure their participation in the development and revision of such definitions. In this context, account should be taken of new methods of cargo handling and their impact on various professions of port workers.
