Analysis of "cost of disease"
The "cost of illness" analysis is a method for studying all costs associated with managing patients with a specific disease, both at a particular stage (time period) and across all stages of medical care, as well as related to disability and premature mortality. This analysis does not involve comparing the effectiveness of medical interventions, can be used to study typical practices in managing patients with a specific illness, and is employed to achieve certain objectives such as cost planning, determining rates for inter-subject settlements within the healthcare system and medical insurance, etc.
