Symbolism of Sports Competitions
Sporting event symbolism - symbolism of the FIFA World Cup 2018, the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017: a) the FIFA flag, logo, anthem, and motto; b) official names of events and designations of FIFA - "FIFA", "FIFA 2017", "FIFA 2018", "Russia 2017", "Russia 2018", as well as "World Cup", "World Championship", "CoupeduMonde", "Mundial", "CopadoMundo", "CopadelMundo", "WM" or "Weltmeisterschaft", "Confederations Cup", "ConfedCup", "CoupedesConfederations", "Sora Confederaciones", "Sora das Confederacoes", "Konfoderationen-Pokal", words and phrases derived from them, and similar designations used with the word "football" or otherwise associated with football as a sport and (or) with events; c) registered trademarks logos and emblems of events using the phrases "Football for Hope" and "Green Goal" or without using such phrases, other trademarks protected on the territory of the Russian Federation of FIFA; d) sporting event mascots, emblems, posters, identification symbolism, names of events, design items, mottos of events, trophies and medals of participants in sports competitions developed by FIFA for official use at events and in respect of which FIFA holds exclusive rights; d) works of visual art, musical, literary and other works, neighboring right objects containing the marks and objects referred to in this paragraph and intended for the individualization of events; e) other marks and objects developed by FIFA for official use at events and in respect of which FIFA holds exclusive rights (ceased to be effective as of 2019-05-01)1.
