Field assessment
On-site evaluation — activities including on-site assessment of the conformity of an applicant or accredited entity to accreditation criteria, as well as on-site activities for assessing the conformity of an applicant or accredited entity to accreditation criteria, carried out by officials of the national accreditation body at the place or places where the applicant or accredited entity carries out its activities in the declared or specified field of accreditation and (or) on the territory of a person intending to enter into a contract with the applicant for the performance of work and (or) provision of services, or a person who has entered into a contract with an accredited entity for the performance of work and (or) provision of services1.
