Field inspection
Field inspection refers to activities involving the examination of an applicant or accredited entity at the location(s) where they carry out their accreditation-related activities, or on the territory of a party intending to enter into a contract with the applicant for the performance of work and/or provision of services, or the client, including expert evaluation conducted by an expert team formed by the national accreditation body during the conformity assessment of the applicant or accredited entity against accreditation criteria, and based on the results of which an inspection report or an expert report is prepared. In cases determined by the Government of the Russian Federation, field inspection for the conformity of the applicant or accredited entity to accreditation criteria may be carried out in the form of remote evaluation1.
