Syndicated Credit Agreement


A syndicated loan agreement is also deemed to be concluded if a credit agreement was previously entered into between the borrower and the creditor or a loan agreement was entered into between the borrower and the lender, and the parties to such credit agreement or loan agreement subsequently enter into an agreement with a third party (third parties), pursuant to which the third party (third parties) undertakes to provide or continue providing the borrower with funds in the amount and within the timeframes established by such agreement, and/or joins the original obligation on the side of the creditor (Article 321 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation)1.
