A breeding achievement that essentially inherits the characteristics of another protected original breeding achievement - a breeding achievement that, despite being clearly different from the original: inherits the most essential characteristics of the original breeding achievement or a breeding achievement that itself inherits significant characteristics of the original breeding achievement, while retaining the main characteristics reflecting the genotype or combination of genotypes of the original breeding achievement; corresponds to the genotype or combination of genotypes of the original breeding achievement, except for deviations caused by the application of methods such as individual selection from the original plant variety, animal breed, induced mutant selection, backcrossing, and genetic engineering1.
