Air travel safety in civil aviation - the state of the air transport system in which risks associated with activities in the field of civil aviation, relating to the operation of civil aircraft or directly supporting such operations, including the activities of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs specified in item 4 of paragraph 1 and paragraph 3 of article 8 of this Code, are reduced to an acceptable level of air safety. Indicators of the acceptable level of air safety in civil aviation are approved by the Government of the Russian Federation1.
