Public Environmental Inspectors
Public environmental inspectors are authorized to carry out public oversight in the field of environmental protection (public ecological monitoring) as public environmental inspectors and provide assistance to the federal executive body authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation to conduct federal state ecological monitoring (supervision), as well as to the bodies of state authority of the subjects of the Russian Federation carrying out regional state ecological monitoring (supervision)1.
