Wholesale Market
The wholesale market is a sphere of circulation of a special commodity - electric energy (capacity) within the Unified Energy System of Russia, within the boundaries of the unified economic space of the Russian Federation, involving large producers and large consumers of electric energy who have obtained the status of wholesale market participants and operate on the basis of wholesale market rules1.
