Savings and deposit certificates are named documentary securities confirming the fact of a depositor's contribution to a credit institution of the amount of the deposit under the conditions specified in the relevant certificate, and the right of the owner of such a certificate to receive upon expiration of the term established by the certificate the amount of the deposit and the interest rates stipulated by the certificate from the credit institution that issued the certificate1.
