Place of Residence of an Individual
The place of residence of a physical person is the address (the name of the subject of the Russian Federation, district, city, other populated area, street, house number, apartment), at which the physical person is registered for residence in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. In the absence of a place of residence on the territory of the Russian Federation by a physical person, for the purposes of this Code, the place of residence may be determined upon request of that physical person at his place of stay. At the same time, the place of stay of a physical person is considered to be the place where the physical person temporarily resides at the address (the name of the subject of the Russian Federation, district, city, other populated area, street, house number, apartment), at which the physical person is registered for temporary residence in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation;
