Fishing activities - means:
i) the actual carrying out or attempt to search for, catch, take or harvest fish resources;
ii) participation in any activity which, according to reasonable expectations, may lead to the discovery, catching, taking or harvesting of these resources for any purpose;
iii) processing of these resources at sea and loading of these resources at sea or in a port; and
iv) any action at sea directly in support of or for preparation for any activity mentioned above in points (i) - (iii), excluding any action relating to emergencies concerning the health and safety of crew members or the safety of fishing vessels1;
