Rafia
5. Raffia; this is the commercial name for fibrous strips obtained from the leaves of certain palms of the genus Raphia, among which the most important is Raphia ruffia, mainly growing on Madagascar. Raffia is used for weaving or as a tying material in horticulture. Textiles made from unprocessed raffia are not included (tariff item 4601). This tariff item includes other leaves and grasses (e.g., Panama and latanias), having similar uses, as well as those used in the manufacture of hats
