Economically active population


7.2. The economically active population includes all persons of both sexes who provide the supply of labor for the production of goods or services within the boundaries of production defined in the System of National Accounts (SNA) during the reporting period. According to the SNA, the production of goods and services includes the production of goods, the production of market and non-market services, and the production of domestic services for own final consumption carried out by paid domestic workers. <*>

56. Economically active population - a part of the population in the age group established for measuring the economic activity of the population (section 1, paragraph 3), providing the supply of labour force for the production of goods and services during the considered period.
