Payments for Current Account Foreign Exchange Transactions


(d) Current account payments are payments made for purposes other than the transfer of capital, and include, without limitation:

(1) all payments due in connection with foreign trade and other current activities, including services, as well as in connection with the operation of ordinary short-term banking and credit mechanisms;

(2) payments due in the form of interest on loans and in the form of net income from other investments;

(3) moderate amounts paid toward the repayment of loans or toward the amortization of direct investments;

(4) moderate amounts of private transfers for current family expenditures from abroad
